Calibration Procedures

Before you perform calibrations on a gage, the Calibration Procedures is defined by selecting the Cal Procedure button. Changes made in the Define Calibration Study Procedures dialog box will be reflected in future calibrations, but will not affect past calibrations for this gage.

Each calibration may have multiple steps, but each step must be defined so that a single data point is collected for each step. Thus, a given step can have multiple sub-steps, which might include detailed descriptions of cleaning the gage or gage setup instructions meant to be done prior to data collection. Each step also includes an Acceptance Criteria.
