Overview
Q-pulse is available with two separate license options: Power users and Restrictive users. With one license option designed to cater for occasional users of the system and another option covering regular system users, this means that as a system administrator you have the flexibility to create your user accounts with the license option that is best suited to them.
- Power users are concurrent licenses that have full Q-Pulse access to all areas of the system that have been assigned to them by the systems administrator. For every 1 Power User license, you will receive 10 Restricted licenses FREE. (Example: 10 Power User licenses = 100 Restricted User Licenses)
- Restricted users are not required to regularly complete a broad range of compliance activities within Q-Pulse, so as a result, the functions that they can access have been restricted to the most common compliance actions.
Business Edition Access
Functionality for Restricted users is limited as described below for each module, subject to further access control privileges defined by local administrators within Q-Pulse:
Document Control module
- View controlled documents
- Raise document change request
- Create personal document search folders
- Access published document search folders
- Acknowledge document distributions
- Approve draft documents
CAPA module
- Raise deviations and incidents based on your customized incident wizards
- Access published incident search folders
- View the status of their previously raised incidents
Enterprise Edition Access
Restricted Users can perform all of the Business Edition functionality plus:
Audit module
- Schedule Audits
- View scheduled audits
- Raise findings (if permitted)
- Perform Audits
- Compile Reports
- Sign Off Audits
Equipment Module
- View Equipment List/Details (Read Only)
People Module
- View Person Details (Read Only; all, their own or Direct Report records)
- Add/Edit a Competency/requirement
Training Module
- View, Events (Read Only; all, or where they are an attendee)
- Edit their own evaluation fields
