Data Entry through the Serial Ports

Using the optional Real Time Gage Module, accessible from the button, data can be entered into one or more columns in a .qdb file's Data Editor directly from a variety of gages, and multiplexers. The supported gages and their manufacturer are listed below:

Generic / Universal:

This option allows for entering of data through the RS-232 serial port by many measurement instruments not listed below. The data stream should have data values separated by carriage returns. An option may be set to "Ignore the First n Characters" in the stream.
