| Contents | Index Run Tests The Run Tests dialog box, available by choosing Run Tests from the Options menu, allows selection of the various Western Electric and Nelson Run Tests. These selected Run Tests are then automatically applied to X-bar charts and Individual-X charts. By default, all the Run Tests are applied, and points which meet the conditions of the test are shown as circled points on the charts. To remove any or all of these tests, click on the corresponding check box to remove the check mark. To define your own Run Test, click on the User... button to open the User Defined Run Tests dialog box. User Defined Run Tests dialog box This dialog box offers you eight different Run Test rules, labeled A through H. These rules were designed to be similar in form to the Western Electric/ Nelson rules. You may change the specifications for any of these Run Tests by selecting the text box where values are shown and typing in your own value. Check the box to the left of the Run Test label to activate your user defined run test. Select OK to accept your changes or CANCEL to ignore the changes and return to the Run Test dialog box.
