Chart Options dialog box
The Chart Options dialog box provides selection of the data and the analysis
type that will be presented in the Chart and Statistics windows.
To access the Chart Options dialog box:
- Select the Chart icon from the Data Editor window, or
- Select the Chart menu from the Data Editor window, then click on New Chart
from the drop down menu, or
- From an existing Chart window, select Amend Chart from the Chart menu
The Chart Options dialog box is a dynamic dialog box, meaning that the options
available on the right side of the dialog box will change depending on your
selection on the left side of the dialog box. Therefore, you must first select
the type of chart you wish to create from the list at the left.
Some options available on the right side of the dialog box will change
depending on the chart type selected. See information for the specific chart for
details on these options.

After you have made your selections and clicked the OK button, the Chart window will open.
