| Contents | Index Chart Labels The following options are available in the Chart Format Options dialog box: Chart Title: Enter any letter, number or punctuation character that you wish for the title, shown on all displays and printouts. The color and font used for display and printout may also be selected, as shown below. Subtitle: Enter any letter, number or punctuation character that you wish for the subtitle, shown on all displays and printouts. The color and font used for display and printout may also be selected, as shown below. Decimal Places: Enter the number of decimal places to be used in the charts and statistics output. This does not affect the precision of calculations (64 bit precision is used), but will result in rounding of displayed numbers. Y-Axis Label: Enter the label to be used for the y-axis when creating charts. When there are multiple charts in a chart window (such as X-bar / Range charts), the label will apply to the upper chart (i.e. X-bar). When a label is not specified here, a default label is applied to denote the statistic being plotted (such as Average for the X-bar chart). The font used is that selected as Other Text from the Fonts button. X-Axis Labels: The font used is that selected as Other Text from the Fonts button. Group Number: Check this button if you want the x-axis on your charts to use the subgroup number for labeling. Column: Check this button and select a column from the drop down list if you want to see information from another column (such as date, time, physician) used as the x-axis labels. For any of the labels, you can change the color or font used, or you can choose to add a heading to the chart. |
