Assignable Cause Column dialog box

Before you may enter Assignable Causes onto a chart, you must select a column for storing the Assignable Causes in the Assignable Cause Column dialog box.

From the drop down list, select a column in the data editor for storing the assignable cause for this variable. Each characteristic can have only a single Assignable cause column selected at a time, and each subgroup can have only a single assignable cause within that column.

Note:

  1. Any Assignable Causes entered will write over any information already in that row (the first row of the selected subgroup) in the column specified.

  2. The maximum length of an Assignable Cause is determined by the width setting in the Chart Format dialog box for the column which contains the Assignable Cause.
