Alert History

To view all the alerts which you have received, or respond to a received alert, select Alert History... from the Chart menu.

Note: The Alert History list box will appear whenever you receive an alert, so long as you have "enabled" the alerts in the Alert Setup dialog box. When you enter the application, you will see a list of all unacknowledged alerts received since your last time using the program.

The Alerts list box will appear with a list of all the Alert messages you have received.

  • the name of the workstation which sent the Alert

  • the date and the time that the Alert was sent.

Note: An “Re” will precede the following information if the information pertains to an Action message sent in response to an Alert (see below).

  • the chart type

  • the file name

  • the column (characteristic) name

  • the Alert Condition which was violated

  • the subgroup number of which violated the Alert condition

  • the Action message sent with the Aler

Details: Select an Alert from the list box, then select the Details button to view a dialog box containing the workstation that sent the alert, the time and date, the chart and the alert conditions that were violated. From this dialog box, the Previous and Next buttons will allow viewing of the other Alerts. You can also choose to take Action (send a message regarding the required action) on that alert from this dialog.

Action: Select an Alert from the list box, then select the Action button to send a message regarding a particular alert to the workstation from which the alert originated.

Delete: Select an Alert from the list box, then select the Delete button to delete the Alert.
