| Contents | Index Alert Conditions Alert Conditions are defined within the Alerts dialog box , accessible from the Analysis Options dialog box . Included Conditions: This list box contains the conditions which will trigger an alert. Move conditions from the Not Included Conditions list box (at right) to the Included Conditions list box by either double clicking on the entry in the Not Included Conditions list box, or single clicking on the entry and clicking on the Add button. Conditions may be removed from the Included Conditions list box by single clicking on the entry and clicking on the Delete button. Details: The Alert Details for each Included Condition may be specified by single clicking on the entry and clicking on the Details button, or by double clicking on the entry in the Included Conditions list box (see below). The Alert Conditions dialog box will open, which allows specification of the details for the condition and any messages that will be sent to the workstations when the condition occurs. Note: Alert Conditions affecting the Individual-X / Moving Range chart will be applied even if the Moving Range Chart is not selected for viewing in the Chart Options dialog box. Alert Condition dialog box The top line of the Alert Conditions dialog box indicates the alert condition for which you are setting the details. If options in the dialog box are not applicable to this condition, they will be grayed out. For instance, the Greater than, Less than radio buttons are not available for the Run Test conditions. Warning only: Selecting this option causes the upper margin of the control chart (and the minimized chart icon in Windows and Windows for Workgroups) to turn yellow when an Alert is sent. Otherwise, an Alert will turn these areas red. |
