Privilege Levels may be defined to provide Access Rights to specific groups of users. Each user is then assigned a particular Privilege Level.
To add a new Privilege Level, select Add Privilege from the User menu.
To edit an existing Privilege Level, select Edit Privilege from the User menu.
To remove an existing Privilege Level, select Delete Privilege from the User menu. You must first re-assign any users to a different privilege level.
The following privileges, or access rights, may be applied to the specified Privilege Level:
Administrator: Select this option to give the user all rights.
Allow User to Add Users: Select this option to allow the user to define name, password and access privilege for new user.
Allow User to Edit Users: Select this option to allow the user to change name, password and/or access privilege for any existing user
Allow User to Delete Users: Select this option to allow the user to remove an existing User from the database
Allow User to Add Work Sets: Select this option to allow the user to define properties for a new Work Set.
Allow User to Edit Work Sets: Select this option to allow the user to change properties for an existing Work Set.
Allow User to Delete Work Sets: Select this option to allow the user to remove an existing Work Set from the database
Allow User to Add Processes: Select this option to allow the user to define properties for a new Process.
Allow User to Edit Processes: Select this option to allow the user to change properties for an existing Process.
Allow User to Delete Processes: Select this option to allow the user to remove an existing Process from the database.
Allow User to Add Characteristics: Select this option to allow the user to define properties for a new Characteristic.
Allow User to Edit Characteristics: Select this option to allow the user to define properties for an existing Characteristic.
Allow User to Delete Characteristics: Select this option to allow the user to remove an existing Characteristic from the database.
Allow User to Add Data: Select this option to allow the user to add data to any Characteristic or Work Set that the user has access to.
Allow User to Edit Data: Select this option to allow the user to edit data for any Characteristic or Work Set that the user has access to.
