Define Work Set Auto Advance Tab

The following information is available from the Define Work Set dialog box Auto Advance tab:

Automatically Advance: Select this check box to automatically visit the next tab (page) in the Work Set View after data entry is completed for each tab. Once this option has been selected, Auto Advance may also be turned off and on by selecting the Auto Advance option in the Work Set menu .When this option is selected, enter the following information:

Time Delay: Enter the time delay, from 0 to 120 seconds, used between the end of data collection and the advance to the next tab (default is 20 seconds).

Advance when subgroup is filled: (default) When selected, the auto advance time delay will begin once all the values in the subgroup have been entered. Data collection is completed for a subgroup when either the OK button is selected, or the last value in the subgroup has been entered via a Serial gage.

Advance after each data value is entered: When selected, the auto advance time delay will begin after each value in the subgroup has been entered. Data collection is completed when the text box loses the focus (for example, by clicking on the next textbox with the mouse or using the tab key to move the focus to the next control).

Open New Work Set after all Characteristics visited: When selected, the Open Work Set dialog box will be displayed after the user has entered data for the last Characteristic in the Work Set.

Note: If the order of the Characteristics (tabs) in the Work Set are changed, and Auto Advance is turned ON, if you use the Footswitch option you must also change the Footswitch Sequence to ensure that data is not lost.
