Analysis Chart Types

The following Analyses are available when creating a New Chart or defining an Analysis :

Box-Whisker Chart: to view a summary Box-Whisker chart of the Characteristics' location (average or median) and its variation (sigma or quartiles). See also Box-Whisker Options.

Process Monitor Chart: to monitor changes to the Characteristics' Process Capability or Performance Indices. See also Process Monitor Options.

Bar Chart: to view a summary Bar chart of the Characteristics' mean (average), variation, Process Capability or Performance Indices, as selected on the Bar Chart Options tab.

Scatter Diagram : to estimate Regression between two Characteristics. The Characteristic list is limited to two Characteristics: the first Characteristic is the Independent variable (x-axis) and the second is the Dependant variable (y-axis).

Pareto Chart: to use a Pareto Chart for the relative occurrence of the items for the Traceability or Assignable Cause / Corrective Action field. See also Pareto and Pie Options.

Pie Chart: to use a Pie Chart for the relative occurrence of the items for the Traceability or Assignable Cause / Corrective Action field. See also Pareto and Pie Options.

Overlay Chart: to overlay several Characteristics on a simple Run (trend) chart.
