Designs are generated from a long list of design types, giving you the flexibility to choose the design that meets your unique needs. Your decision is as easy as choosing the design with the fewest runs, or the best efficiency depending on your needs.

The various design types include:

• Fractional Factorials, including Taguchi
• John’s 3/4
• Plackett-Burman
• Box-Behnken
• Central Composites (Face or Extended Points)

Several designs can be created for each project, so comparing the designs is easy. Blocking variables may be defined to improve the design; runs may be conveniently added, replicated, and deleted; design replicates may be chosen with the click of the mouse! An audit function will check for confounding when designs have been changed.

Designs can always be shown in one of three common standardized notations, or in the actual units of measure used in the experiment. The order of the runs may also be conveniently randomized.
